Internship Program

At Five9 we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our interns. We tailor our program to provide participants with real, impactful work, contributing directly to the continued success of Five9. Through our Speaker Series and Events, you'll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the best in the business.

The is a full time, paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon, CA. The program runs 12 weeks with the opportunity to start in late May or early June.

The Team

Five9 AI Engineering team is responsible for development of software that enhances the contact center experience by bringing AI technologies to the users. You will have an opportunity to work with the team, that integrates the AI technologies from vendors like OpenAI, Google, Amazon.

Responsibilities

• Join fast paced scrum team to prototype, build features and internal facing tools.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies like code reviews, grooming, and demos.
• Help troubleshoot, develop test cases for the code base.
• Review results and label data for our AI experiments.

Qualifications

• Rising college senior or above, pursuing an undergrad degree in software engineering.
• Knowledge and experience in java development is required.
• Understanding of Cloud environments is required (GCP a plus).
• Good written and verbal communication skills needed.
• Must be able to work out of the San Ramon, CA headquarters this summer.
