Beaumont Health is currently hiring Biomedical Equipment Technicians at multiple campuses. Positions range from BMETI to BMETIII depending on applicant experience.
Biomedical Equipment Technician’s primary responsibilities include the repair, installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment.
Ideal candidates are skilled in decision making, capable of following protocols and procedures, meet due dates, and contribute to the achievement of department goals for patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Biomedical Equipment Technician technical skills should include trouble shooting clinical systems, electrical wiring, circuitry, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Biomedical Equipment Technicians often interface with clinical staff as well as administrative stake holders across the health system. Technicians must have strong communication and customer service skills, especially in emergent situations.
Minimum education requirements for these positions are an associate degree in Electronic Technology, or military equivalent.

Pay: $22.27 - $30.00 per hour
