Duties of an Oregon Coast Cannabis Budtender include and are not limited to:
- Representing the company
- Listening to customers rather than just selling products
- Transfers products to customers within strict State parameters
- Work with a diversity of customers, and provide options that are best suited to their needs.
- Restock and inventory products
- Weigh, package and manage flower under strict handling protocols.
- Computer work (creating labels, ensuring compliance with state, and product inventory)
- Meticulous maintenance of the store (cleaning containers, floors, scales etc…)
General Requirements:
- Attention to detail is essential, every transaction is monitored and tracked to maintain compliance.
- Strong knowledge of many forms of cannabis (extracts, concentrates, edibles, topicals, flower)
- Experience in customer service
- Eagerness and ability to educate and inform customers for safe/effective usage, and to guide them towards the correct product for their needs.
- A desire to grow and work towards personal goals
Daily Tasks:
- Efficiently manage flower, weigh for customers, and pre-packing.
- Restocking, filing all products in compliance with METRC
- Inventory tasks: data entry, adjusting products, intake of items…etc
- Sales to medical and recreational users.
- Cleaning store
- Creating labels and packaging
- Updating online and in store menu
- Updating website
- Cash handling
- Completing online orders
- Answering phone
