Job Description:

CIVIL CAD TECHNICIANS and DESIGNERS

MHS is seeking land survey and engineering CAD Technicians to provide CAD support for our growing Lenexa office of Professional Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in Civil 3D.

Additional consideration will be given to candidates who posses both knowledge of the inner workings of styles and grading manipulation within Civil 3D, as well as, knowledge of corridors, sections, and volume analysis. Candidates should have a strong sense of responsibility, and ability to find answers and make decisions.

Duties will depend upon the experience of the individual, but will either include working closely with land surveyors and technicians in the manipulation of field data, deed and easement record gathering, plot plan and plat creation, or working closely with other technicians and civil engineers to design and create plans for infrastructure, roadway, and site development projects.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should possess the following:

• Strong organization and planning skills are required to manage projects without compromising quality.
• Excellent written, verbal, oral, and presentation skills to effectively communicate project details with professional staff.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, is required and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
