Raymond West is looking for an innovative Director of Program Operations to join our Systems team.

Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations in support of the material handling equipment (MHE) projects of Raymond West’s largest customer: success in this position is measured by the satisfaction of the customer in terms of project/service timeliness, quality, value, and responsiveness.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Coordinating, integrating, and synchronizing the efforts of the Amazon MHE Account, coordination of Project Management, coordination of Engineering/Estimating Team and supervision of all RW Amazon Program Managers; ADTA Program Manager, Mechlite Program Manager, ATS Program Manager and AIM Program Manager.
  • Manage material suppliers to ensure the delivery of MHE projects to our largest customer, along with the associate service support to achieve high customer satisfaction in terms of timeliness, quality, value, and responsiveness.
  • Track, allocate and prioritize resources to ensure project consistency.
  • Escalate and establish support resource tasking needs from Project Management, Field Installation Management, Coordination, and Engineering/Estimation.
  • Anticipate points of friction and take early proactive measures to mitigate the risk
  • Manage extensive customer-directed data and information requirements in a series of databases.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for all operational aspects to the Customer MHE account.
  • Conduct routine customer status update briefings that may occur as frequently as daily during peak periods.
  • Recommend, hire, orient, train and evaluate Raymond West’s Systems Team staff as it relates to Customer Support
  • Monitor and coordinate staff development and training programs
  • Assume major management responsibility for a wide range of project/tasks associated with primary business operations
  • Develop and implement department processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and communications to internal and external customers.
  • Render decisions with respect to key department issues impacting overall service and performance.
  • Create headcount reports for Systems Team so Executive Leadership can view
  • Maintains a professional attitude in all matters.
Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required’
  • 10+ years’ experience in private/public sector operations, with an emphasis on positions with a broad scope of responsibilities and competing requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and fulfillment of competing demands, while maintaining responsiveness to customer requirements
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deliverables
  • Excellent information management skills; able to organize, track, and recall a wide range of data and information
  • Possess strong attention to detail and a quality orientation are essential
  • Above-average proficiency in Excel for the tracking and presentation of data and information via customer-directed formation
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem assessment/analytical skills
  • Strong client relationship skills are required with experience presenting information to large groups is highly desirable.

Education/Experience:
Recommended preferred experience or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relatable work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years in a management capacity

Travel Requirement:
  • 25% (~5 days per month)

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Pay Range:

  • $130k - 215k
