Doggy Daycare Attendant / Pet Care Associate
OAKVIEWPET RESORTS in LAKE ZURICH and WAUCONDA
We are seeking hardworking, organized, and reliable Daycare Attendant. Our facilities include indoor and outdoor play areas. We are open 7 days a week and most holidays. Job Requirements Experience working with dogs is preferred, but NOT mandatory. Full/part time positions (20-40 hours/week) -- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays. Applicant MUST have own reliable transportation. Multiple positions available. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transporting guests (dogs) to and from the reception area, exercise areas and / or kennel rooms
- Monitoring “Daycare” activities to ensure friendly behavior between guests
- Managing mealtimes for boarding guests
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in all guest areas (exercise areas, kennel rooms, meal prep room, staging / storage areas)
- Assisting trainers / groomers with dog handling tasks
- Logging specific behavioral attributes into the system
- Replenishing various supplies after use
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for dogs
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
- Friendly / professional appearance / demeanor
- Work 3 - 4 days or a full-time schedule
- Ability to stand and bend for an extended period of time.
