Electrician Instructor – Monday-Friday
Delta Technical College, an established career college with campuses throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta region, is seeking applicants for a full-time instructor for the Electrician Program at our Ridgeland, Mississippi campus.
Current Opening:
Electrician Instructor (for the Industrial, Commercial, & Residential Electrician Program)
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to train students for entry level employment in the workforce. The Electrician Instructor will teach both classroom theory and hands-on in lab situations. Delta Technical College believes that hands-on learning is the greatest benefit that instructors can provide to its students.
Job Duties Include:
- Teaching classes in both a classroom and lab environment
- Maintaining a good working relationship with industry employers
- Assisting graduates with placement in their related career field
- Staying up to date with industry standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience as an Electrician
- Preferred experience in Industrial / Commercial / Residential applications
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills are a must
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task
