WHO ARE YOU?

As an Accountant with SPO, you will support a variety of accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, and general ledger and reporting to ensure the correct reporting of revenues and costs.

IS THIS ROLE FOR YOU:

Are you analytically driven?

• In this role you will maintain balance sheets and income statement accounts to accurately reflect financial activity and balances in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• You will also analyze data to support business decision-making and oversee accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• In addition, you will perform monthly reconciliation of fixed assets to general ledger accounts, compute monthly asset depreciation, maintain asset tax ledgers, and perform asset disposals.

Are you detail oriented and organized?

• As an Accountant with SPO you will, gather financial data and maintain financial reports, records, general ledgers, and account structures.
• You will Assist with external and internal audits and prepare reports as required for the company’s fiscal year-end financial audit, and monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• You will also assist with day-to-day operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions.

Position Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of general accounting experience required, including an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and/or Oracle Cloud Preferred.
