HIRING:EXCAVATOR OPERATOR
Layton Services is an excavation company that has been family-owned & operated for 30+ years. We specialize in site work (mass excavation, building pads, sub-grade prep) and underground utilities (water, sanitary, storm). We are located in Newark with majority of our work in Columbus, Ohio.
Summary of Position: Responsible to productively operate excavator. Also willing to operate several types of other heavy equipment, help labor and lay pipe as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
- 1+ years construction/site work experience
- Efficient operating excavator
- Experience with multiple pieces of heavy machinery
- 10 hour OSHA certificate in construction (can obtain once hired)
- 1 hour excavation certification (can obtain once hired)
- Preferred High School Diploma
- Ability to relate well to others including a positive attitude and willingness to learn
