Summary: The Remote Medical Assistant Case Manager will provide support to the CEO and Director of Case Management. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Assists with general clerical/administrative duties as needed, including, but not limited to answering phones, faxing, emailing etc.
- Marketing implementation to generate new business relationships, ongoing networking responsibilities as assigned to maintain and develop business contacts.
- Conducts the Healthcare Intake, assessment and short term treatment planning process upon admission of a client into programs.
- Actively works to promote and recognize areas for performance improvement.
- Supports physicians, nurses working on assignments including start of care process, communication between all team members, and discharge planning for all patients.
- Daily chart reviews on assigned patients.
- Performs more complex administrative activities including calling patients for status updates, and follow up calls after their treatment ends.
- Provides overall administrative support for patients.
- Provides administrative support to CEO.
- Adherence to standards of business conduct and compliance.

- Knowledge of physical and psychological characteristics of disease processes, recognizes potential clinical problems, and recommends intervention in a preventative, pro-active way.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to coordinate community resources to meet patient’s needs.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time and remain organized.
- Ability to work autonomously but demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively on a team.
- Must meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity, with a demonstrated capacity for discretion and for handling confidential information with care.
- Must have the capacity to work from a home office free from any distractions.
Job Type: Remote, Full Time
Schedule: Thursday - Monday (Hours Varied)
Required education/experience:
- High school or equivalent, and minimum 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant Required.
- Administrative, sales and/or supervisor experience Required.
- Front office and clinical experience, Preferred.
Salary Range:
- $45,000-$54,000 dependent on experience.
