We have several decades of experience in Fumigation, Food Safety Pest Management, Fogging and Non-toxic Alternatives and we're looking for new Fumigation Service Technicians.

Licensed Fumigators with experience and knowledge of fumigants including phosphine and sulfuryl fluoride will receive preference but we have an excellent training program which allows us to consider all applicants.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FUMIGATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN

This Full-Time position works with a team to perform necessary pest control assignments from start to finish, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

New employees are required to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Screening. FSS, Inc. uses current Federal guidelines and not State guidelines when reviewing Pre-Employment Drug Screening results and for Random Drug Screening of active employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF FUMIGATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN

+ Working well with others by building relationships with our other Fumigation Technicians and Fumigation teams.

+ Obtaining and maintaining licensing required for Fumigation Technicians.

+ Working with the Regional Manager and the entire team to ensure growth in an established business region.

+ Assisting in other areas of related business as requested.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong communication skills are a must. We are cultivating a team environment and looking for great people.

A history of working safely while performing a variety of tasks.

Attention to detail and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.

Proficient in Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs and functions.

Must be comfortable working at heights and using a ladder safely. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds. Average visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate equipment. Requires active work punctuated by periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing, and walking.
