We are hiring a Health Data Specialist II for one of our clients in Trenton, NJ.

Job Description:

• The HDS2 will create and maintain health data information systems for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data for the New Jersey Behavioral Risk Factor Survey (NJBRFS).
• The HDS2 will develop and run quality control checks of program data on a monthly basis using SAS or other software to assess progress towards meeting project goals with respect to quantity and quality of data collected.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with survey data helpful, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of SAS and Access.

Experience Required:

• Two (2) years of technical research and statistical analysis experience which involves the use, operation, and/or management of database systems.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree including or supplemented by twelve (12) semester hour credits in Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Informatics, and/or Statistics.

Computer software to be used:

• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and SAS

Work Hours:

• 8am – 4pm (Negotiable)
• Lunch- 1 hour (unpaid)
