The City of Henderson is accepting applications for the NON-CIVIL SERVICE position of Administrative Assistant for the Henderson Water Utility. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or GED and 8 years of related job experience, with training emphasis in secretarial, accounting, office management skills, and computer skills preferred. As Associates degree will substitute for 4 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree will substitute for 8 years of experience. Must demonstrate proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with no DUI convictions in the previous 5 years. You must submit a copy of your driver’s license with your application. Must become and maintain status as a Notary Public. Applicants will be required to undergo and pass a drug and alcohol test and physical prior to employment. $18.48 per hour plus benefits.
