Position Overview and Job Responsibilities:

The Hypersonic Flight Test Analyst will support DOD-wide initiatives to rapidly mature and deliver critical hypersonic technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Support analysis planning and execution of hypersonic missile testing.
• Define run matrices for Monte Carlo missile trajectory analysis.
• Develop and execute MATLAB scripts to condition, convert, and reformat missile and telemetry simulation input data.
• Configure and execute trajectory models and simulations.
• Perform link margin analysis.
• Configure, modify, and execute data analysis scripts to perform post-processing and quality control screenings of simulation outputs, analyze and summarize simulation results, and package results for delivery.
• Integrate analysis results program documentation.

Basic Qualifications for the Hypersonic Flight Test Analyst:

• Bachelor's Degree (STEM) with 5+ years' experience
• Ability to perform technical analysis of flight tests, including missile trajectories, range instrumentation, and auxiliary sensors
• Ability to identify, configure and run analysis tools such as MATLAB, STK, 3/6-dof codes, and debris models
• Excellent people, organization, management, computer, and leadership skills
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency of the tools and analysis referenced above
• Understanding of Hypersonic missile flight and associated test challenges

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret Clearance
