Job Description:

Reportingto the CNO, this individual will direct and manage the operations andactivities of the Critical Care Units.

  • Managedepartment operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity andpatient satisfaction goals/objectives
  • Supervisestaff including performance and departmental accomplishments to meetfacility and regulatory requirements
  • Promoteteamwork with physicians and all health care providers
  • Actas a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employeesto ensure high-quality patient care
  • Manageunit supplies and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize costs.


  • CurrentFlorida RN Licensure or
    • Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida StateLicensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility andduration provisions)
  • BSNrequired, Master’s preferred
  • BCLS,ACLS certifications required CCRN preferred
  • 5+years nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Strongcommunication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skillsrequired
  • Ableto work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeof guidelines and requirements for applicable Regulatory agencies such asJCAHO, AHCA, OSHA
