Candidate Profile:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field and a minimum of 4-10 years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools
  • Understand Agile Methodology
  • Availability to begin work immediately in a full-time capacity (potentially nights and weekends).
Position Description:
  • Manage and support technology projects with direct responsibility for successful project delivery. Establish and enforce project management organizational standards to ensure the successful
delivery of projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support technology projects in accordance with the IS Project Methodology
  • Determine priority ranking based on the existing IS Portfolio of projects and future needs by collaborating and consulting with business sponsors/stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans that include scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements to determine a level of effort.
  • Evaluate the need for training, communication, pilot & implementation plans as part of the overall project plan and coordinate with other teams as needed.
  • Track and manage costs against the approved budget – forecast, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions monthly.
  • Communicate project report status to the IS Leadership Team and others as directed.
  • Coordinate requests for the proposal process as required to engage vendor(s).
  • Manage close-out of the projects including punch list and vendor disengagements.
  • Establish and manage invoice/billing processes with the project team and vendor(s).
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field and a minimum of 4-10 years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
  • General to advanced knowledge of Project management methodology and tools.
  • Experience with or understanding of Project Management tools, Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with all leadership levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to understand and adopt Lean principles.
  • Able to effectively operate in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Self-starter, uses an effective thought process\methodology to determine priorities, set goals, and create a plan for completing a project\task.

  • Full-Time
Salary:
  • $55.00-$70.00/Hour (Plus Benefits) (Depending on Experience)
