Minimum Qualification

Baccalaureate-level degree in an IT-related field from a recognized college or university.

Alternatively, qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

NOTE: If no degree, Consultant would need to demonstrate a total of 8 years of experience to meet MQ#2 below (i.e., minimum 4 years + 4 additional qualifying years).

A minimum four (4) years’ experience developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities in three (3) or more of the following areas: Application Code Review, Security Incident Management, Log Collection/SIEM, Network IPS/IDS, Security Metrics/Reporting/Visualizations, Access Control Lists/Network Security Groups, Patch/Vulnerability Management, Certificate/Access Key Management, Application/Network Segmentation, Endpoint Protection.

A minimum two (2) years’ experience working with compliance programs, including NIST 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001/27002.

A minimum two (2) years’ experience with design, architecture and policy shaping for WAF.

Desirable Qualifications

Master’s degree or doctorate in an IT-related field from a recognized college or university.

A minimum six (6) years’ experience developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities in three (3) or more of the following areas: Application Code Review, Security Incident Management, Log Collection/SIEM, Network IPS/IDS, Security Metrics/Reporting/Visualizations, Access Control Lists/Network Security Groups, Patch/Vulnerability Management, Certificate/Access Key Management, Application/Network Segmentation, Endpoint Protection.

A minimum four (4) years’ experience working with compliance programs, including NIST 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001/27002.

A minimum four (4) years’ experience with design, architecture and policy shaping for WAF.

A minimum of four (4) years’ experience monitoring and remediating security issues in Azure.
