Acute-care hospital in the Hamptons of New York is seeking a 13-week Locum Tenens, Radiologist Physician! Housing in the Hamptons is provided for the provider and her/his family/pets if needed!

Hourly Rate: $300 per hour

Locum Tenens Radiologist Coverage Details:

• Dates: December 2022 and on-going
• 1099 or W2 payroll!
• One other full-time breast radiologist on staff who would act as secondary support staff alongside clinical staff within the hospital
• This opportunity will primarily entail breast biopsies, therefore experience with those procedures is required.
• Modalities: MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography. 2-D and 3-D Screening & Diagnostic Mammogram (tomosynthesis)
• The Radiologist will mainly perform procedures such as, but not limited to, breast biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, aspiration breast biopsy, and stereo
• Schedule: flexible (can do anything from 1 to 5 days per week.) weekdays only, 7:00 AM - > 5:00 PM.
• Average Studies Volume: 20-25 cases per day
• Average Procedures Volume: 8-10 per day

Qualifications: Locum Tenens Radiologist:

• Active New York Medical license
• Locum Tenens Radiologist must carry her/his malpractice insurance
• ABR (American Board of Radiology) board-eligible or board certified
• 1 or more years of active Radiologist provider experience performing breast biopsies within an acute-care setting is required
• Graduate from an accredited medical program with a residency/fellowship in Radiology
• Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory per NYS law
