LST Wash Bay Technician Job at Les Schwab

Les Schwab Tires has an opportunity for a Wash Bay Technician at the Les Schwab Transport shop in Prineville, OR.
The Wash Bay Technician is responsible for cleaning all transport vehicles and performing wash bay maintenance. This is a swing shift position, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM.
The Wash Bay Technician reports directly to the LS Transport Prineville Supervisor and is based out of the LS Transport shop in Prineville, OR.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS

Clean transport equipment utilizing an automated wash system, scrub brush, and pressure washer

Safely maneuver equipment in and out of wash bay

Mix and maintain wash chemicals appropriately

Maintain the wash bay for cleanliness and functionality

Maintain wash equipment on a monthly preventative maintenance schedule or as need arises
MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

Valid Driver's License

Ability to acquire and maintain forklift certification

Ability to safely operate yard tractor, semi tractors, genie lift and forklift

Ability to perform work with frequent bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, as well as continuous standing

Ability to frequently move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
-
Ability to perform work while subject to inside and outside environmental conditions and while wearing personal protective equipment, including a respirator, as required.
