CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for an onsite Full-time/Part-time Mailroom Technician in Meridian, Idaho. The Mailroom Technician is responsible for clerical support services typically involving opening, tracking, and sorting of incoming mail, scanning mail in proper file folders, retrieving/replacing file folders in accordance with performance standards, and various other duties associated with the claims adjudication and payment processes. This role provides the opportunity for career advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microsoft Office and company systems to electronically open, sort, and perform “document prep” on incoming mail and faxes
• Validate scanned incoming mail and faxes for integration into claims system using optical character recognition software
• Process payment runs; print checks and prepare for outgoing mail
• Provide clerical support

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Demonstrates independent judgment and decision-making skills using discretion and diplomacy based on information received and application of policy and procedures
• Intermediate computer skills to efficiently navigate the Intranet, Internet, scanning, and company specific applications relating
• Basic to intermediate problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to provide quality customer service and effectively present information
• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and perform multi-tasking.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines

Software Applications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
