In this role you will:
- Learn how to maintain and repair all plant equipment and facilities in a way that achieves customer satisfaction in support of the manufacturing of products such as Kibbles ‘n Bits and Gravy Train
- Learn how to review work orders to ensure materials are available and develop manpower and scheduling estimates. Initiate work orders when work cannot be performed immediately.
- Learn how to perform preventative maintenance and inspection functions and take the initiative to ensure these programs are modified and updated as needed.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with ability to develop diagnostic skills
- A proven track record of good attendance and consistent performance delivering consistent safety and quality
- Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions
Expectations:
- Able to operate, perform basic physical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms and various equipment
- Able to lift objects up to 60 pounds frequently
- Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents
- Qualified candidates may be required to complete an assessment
