Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Manager, Clinical Quality Assurance is responsible for managing the Investigative Site Quality Assurance Program, oversight of Clinical Quality colleagues, analyze reporting and trending metrics and provide feedback to divisions in areas of quality improvement.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversees performance and development of Clinical Quality Assurance colleagues
• Oversees the Investigative Site Quality Assurance Program to ensure FDA, SOP, and GCP compliance
• Reviews and approves all audit reports prior to submission to applicable research staff
• Communicates to all subordinate’s performance standards and expectations
• Reports performance of each site to appropriate managers and directors
• Monitors and modifies policy and procedure for quality management
• Utilizes research audit tools that assess the quality indicators of the research process
• Develops a calendar for monitoring quality indicators for all sites

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in regulated clinical research, GCP Quality and Auditing
• Supervisory/management experience
• Experience with process improvement, CAPA, SOP Development and sponsor audits along with FDA inspections
• Knowledge of medical and clinical research terminology is required.
• Knowledge of FDA regulation, guidelines and GCP
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills a must.
• Skill with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Quality or professional research certification highly desired
