The Role:
The Role
Andersen is looking for a dynamic marketing business development, project management and change leader with strong interpersonal skills to manage the business development activities in our Los Angeles office. In this role, the Marketing Manager will serve as trusted resource to senior management to strategically develop, implement, and coordinate impactful business development efforts that not only support the continued growth of the firm but also foster a business development culture and mindset.

Responsibilities:
  • Play a leading role in the managing strategic business development efforts and programs in LA
  • Implement and optimize national and local business development practices and strategies in support of local, national and global business development objectives
  • Assess the impact of strategic BD initiatives, defining success metrics and evaluating process and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on strategic business development initiatives
  • Foster and develop relationships and work closely with local office management in their business development activities. This includes coordinating internal business development meetings, managing external events/relationship building activities, and enhancing the market activity of service line practitioners.
  • Design and execute strategies to ensure appropriate follow-up with marketing initiatives.
  • Measure success against defined business goals (including tracking and analysis of activity and results).
  • Monitor market developments and trends and perform data analysis research to identify opportunities within specific client segments. This will result into the ability produce segmented targeting lists, lead development research and client data analysis.
  • Work closely with other members of the marketing team to facilitate information sharing and ensure seamless execution of overall marketing approaches including national business and service line processes.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship and guidance to team members at all levels
The Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of project management/marketing experience, preferably in professional services;
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or a related field;
  • Strategic and tactical marketing experience, including marketing planning and execution and project management;
  • Experience in writing and editing marketing materials as well as creating and working with spreadsheets, graphs and database management;
  • Expertise in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, results oriented, detail oriented, and proactive;
  • Very strong attention to detail and effective project management skills;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them to high standards under time constraints;
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with various key stakeholders, leveraging flexibility and superior decision making;
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels, especially senior management;
  • Excellent writing skills and experience developing internal communications to enhance business development efforts;
  • Able to function autonomously with a sense of urgency;
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to multi-task, prioritize workload and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations in a reliable manner;
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, the expected salary range for this role is $90,000 to $150,750; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.
