Medical Account Representative (Medical Biller ) Needed to fill ASAP! Job at Urology of Greater Atlanta, LLC
Urology of Greater Atlanta, LLC Stockbridge, GA 30281
Needed to fill position, NOW! Hours vary Monday through Friday. No Holidays or Weekends. Responsibilities include but not limited to: accounts receivable and follow up, taking payments, appealing claim denials, and making patient phone calls.
Additional Job Duties
Review Insurance claim denials and rejections
Follow up on Insurance aging report
File Secondary claim based on cob electronically or paper when necessary
Submit Corrected claim based on chart or account review
Update demos and/or correct rejected claims based on the payer
Respond to SRS/email messages for the billing pool
Send Medical Records for claims as requested by the Insurance payer
Navigate Insurance sites proficiently for claim status
Review medical records to write appeals to insurance with Coder assistance
Answer incoming calls regarding accounts
Review insurance benefits for patient responsibility when requested
Collect on current and past due balance from the patient
Assist with patient responsibility estimations for office and/or surgery treatment
Assist with posting insurance/personal payments during close out if needed
Process refund requests for patient and/or Insurance company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
