Duties for Medical Assistant
- Taking Medical Histories/Triage of all Patients.
- Explaining treatments and in office procedures to patients.
- Preparing patients for examination and procedures.
- Assisting the physician during exams with some in-office procedures.
- Knowledge on basic Medical terminology.
- Performing basic urological procedures.
- Instructing patients about medication and special instructions.
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician.
- Electronic Medical Record knowledge.
Qualifications
- Detailed and Results Oriented.
- Must be able to provide basic physical requirements.
- Punctual and Reliable attendance record.
- Functions Independently and as a Team Player.
- Medical Terminology knowledge and basic understanding.
- Computer Skills (Windows,Electronic Medical Record knowledge (Athena
Preferred), Outlook,Typing Skills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma.
- Clinical Office Experience
- Medical Training. (Medical Assistant diploma required)
- 1-2 Years’ Experience Preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
