Have fun driving the NEW downtown connector shuttle service. Must have a good sense of fun, desire for customer service and hospitality, as well as excellent driving skills as you drive a shuttle on the streets of St. Augustine!

• CDL with Passenger Endorsement Required
• $2000 Hiring Bonus ($1000 pd after 90 day anniversary, $1000 pd after 6 month anniversary) *must meet attendance requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Our ideal Shuttle Drivers have a passion for customer service and being an ambassador of good will for our city.
• A Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) is required - we hire for personality.
• Drivers must be able to drive a shuttle vehicle, on busy public streets in a safe, competent manner while transporting guests around the city.
• Must be able to board and exit the shuttle and assist guests with boarding and exiting the shuttle.
• Must pass annual Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) checks as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Ability to learn and memorize shuttle route.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow employees, the general public, law enforcement and emergency personnel.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a DOT physical upon employment.
• Must have a valid CDL Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement and an acceptable and verifiable driving record of at least three years.

Successful candidate must undergo a drug test and a background search
