Center for Neurosciences, Southern Arizona’s largest and longest standing neuroscience group practice, is looking for an Nurse Practitioner to work with our Neurological Team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running in an exciting work environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
• Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA license
• Current national board certification
• Minimum two years of healthcare experience
• Experience in Neurology - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Able to independently see and assess patients with general neurology conditions
• Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plan
• Collaborate with Neurological team in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient
• Assist staff with clinical questions as they arise
• Write thorough patient notes in a timely fashion
• Submit billing and charge data in an accurate and timely manner

The Center for Neurosciences is a multi-specialty practice that includes Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pediatric Neurology, Neuro-hospitalists, Neuro-Oncology, Interventional Pain Management, Radiation Oncology, Neurotology and Audiology along with Nurse practitioners and Physician Assistants.
