We are offering a hiring bonus after you complete your 45 hours of $500. If you have your 45 hours we are offering a $500 bonus after 90 days. If you have your CDA a $2,000 bonus paid in increments.

On the job training includes:

  • We partner with T.E.A.C.H. and team members to work towards earning a Florida Staff Credential, a Director Credential, a National CDA Assessment, credential renewals, and Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degrees in early childhood education. T.E.A.C.H helps provide well-prepared and better-educated teachers for Florida’s young children.
  • We offer a training program that includes working side by side with a mentor coaching you on developmentally appropriate instructional strategies. We have a training program that is structured and details the policies and procedures the team member should know. Training materials are at your fingertips to include Policy and procedures, how to videos, instructional teaching videos and resource libraries giving you the knowledge and skills to work with any age group.

Please keep in mind that the On the Job Teacher position puts new team members into the daily operations of the organization right from the start. New people quickly get a feel for the culture and the pace of work, and they can rapidly get to know their new team mates, children and parents. Trainees will also have the opportunity to put their new skills to use immediately, which helps them to retain the information they've learned. This can be overwhelming and we ask that all OJT applicants take the observation of the classrooms which is done during the interview very seriously. Children can become attached to caregivers, and a sudden departure of a staff member and the frequent appearance of new faces can take their toll. When a staff member leaves their position, this can trigger behavior changes in children, causing sadness and a feeling of loss. Therefore it is important that you are committed to the role and if after time you decide the position is not for you to give proper notice.
