The Department of Management at the David Eccles School of Business of the University of Utah (www.business.utah.edu) seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in organizational behavior/organizational studies starting July 2023. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in organizational behavior or a related field . Tenure track faculty members are expected to regularly publish in top-tier management journals, and a strong existing record of publishing in management journals is required for this position. The position is open rank, but because of service needs in the department and college, preference will be given to candidates at the advanced assistant and associate ranks. Service would be expected commensurate with rank.

The tenure-track organizational studies faculty in the Management Department includes Bryan Bonner, Kristina Diekmann, Jesse Graham, Glen Kreiner, Kylie Rochford, Harris Sondak, Amy Stillwell, David Tannenbaum and Elizabeth Tenney. With a shared interest in the dynamics of organizational life, this group of scholars conducts research in a broad range of topics including (but not limited to) ethical decision making in organizations, individual and group decision making processes, intra-group conflict, negotiations, stigma, diversity, organizational justice, workplace relationships, and identity processes.
The David Eccles School of Business faculty is recognized for its research, teaching, and scholarship. The school offers degree programs at the undergraduate, masters, executive, and doctoral levels, and teaching opportunities are available in each program.
The University of Utah is located in Salt Lake City at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. This location offers excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation, including easy access to the Rocky Mountains, the red rock country of the Colorado Plateau, and eight national parks. Salt Lake City is the center of a vibrant metropolitan area with a population of approximately two million residents, has extensive arts and cultural activities, and has an international airport that is a Delta Airlines hub.
