DSM Metal Fabrication, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager, to be based Biddeford, Maine.

Requirements of the Operations Manager:

• 5 years of proven experience in an Operations Management position.
• Excellent personnel management and employee development experience.
• Strong experience with production scheduling and workflows.
• Business communication skills and ability to work with customers and vendors.
• Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday in Biddeford, Maine

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

• Oversee, lead, motivate, and support a team of 40+ production employees.
• Develop and implement employee training programs and create metrics to measure performance.
• Act as point of contact for customers, establishing excellent customer service and meeting customer expectations.
• Oversee production project scheduling and workflow.
• Work closely with Production Manager to evaluate staff and machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Manage material requisitioning.
• Grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures.
• Ensure production operations remain on time and within budget.
• Manage preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery.
