Outside Sales Representative Job at Steeler Inc
Steeler, Inc is a manufacturer of steel framing and a distributor of drywall and construction materials. We are the only continuously operated steel stud manufacturer that has been in business in the USA since 1974.
Steeler is growing and in need of dedicated sales team members to contribute to our 40+ years of success.
We are looking for candidates who are motivated and self-starters, Candidates must be familiar with the construction industry preferably in commercial building but not required.
Candidates two primary roles will be developing new accounts and growing current client business. As an outside salesperson you will have the support of an inside team to assist you with quotes and taking the orders.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts and rework existing non-active customers
- Generating Job quoting opportunities
- Continually enhancing personal knowledge of available products
- Achieving sales plans and goals Qualifications
- Prior sales experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Self motivated, enthusiastic and looking to build a long term career
- Excellent customer service skills and passionate about the job
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation is commensurate upon experience. Base salary + bonus incentives.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
