Job Description

Busy, fast paced clinic has an opening for a Physiotherapy Technician. Position is very hands-on,
primarily treating and performing therapy on patients. Therapy Technician follows prescribed
treatment plan as indicated, may include massage, electrical stimulation, ultrasound and/or traction
modalities. Carries out routine housekeeping functions, position generally requires in-house position
specific training.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Provides quality patient care/experience and encourages patient compliance with
treatment plan.
 Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the
performance of this job.
 Acts professionally with patients, co-workers and anytime representing the
company.
 Asks specific questions, as directed, to the area of injury and documents
responses in patient’s chart.
 Provides effective and consistent treatment to patients as prescribed.
 Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward patients and their treatment
programs.
 Report to supervisors, verbally or in writing, on patients' progress, attitudes and
behavior.
 Cleans & maintains equipment as directed and scheduled.
 Responsible for daily laundry, keeps treatment rooms clean, organized,
disinfected and stocked for next patient.
Must have a pleasant, engaging personality, enjoy treating patients and be eager to learn. Must be
dependable and professional. Training is provided for qualified candidates. Experience in the fields
of athletic training, physical therapy, or massage therapy preferred.
