Job Summary: The Power Apps Developer will be responsible for all aspects of establishing and maintaining application development, data management, automation, and analytics. They will deliver services and solutions for internal and external customers using Microsoft’s Power App.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of developers to analyze customer requests/requirements, identify viable technical solutions, make recommendations, and develop/test/deploy technical solutions
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide other developers and team members with guidance and best practices for using new/modern Microsoft technologies
• Meet with users as needed to discuss technical requests/issues
• Creating system documentation and standard operating procedures for application development
• Collaborating with the team in translating user stories and requirements into functional code
• Identifying critical dependencies and gaps, solving technical challenges, and implementing new enhancements
• Support existing Power Platform applications including applications troubleshooting and implementing process improvements
• Present ideas for system improvements
• Support formal testing in a controlled environment before code is promoted to production
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to review the existing app(s) and work with a team to understand their development and maintenance
• Good communication with non-technical and technical users
• Good analytical thinking
• Ability to take various tasks, detect dependencies, and order them appropriately
• Ability to identify conceptual boundaries to keep modules focused
• Ability to learn new tools quickly with limited assistance

Education and Experience:

• Power Apps Canvas app capabilities
• Data structuring
• Familiarity with the Office 365 ecosystem
• Eye for usability and design

Physical Requirements /Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
• Frequent reaching (extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
