The Print Production Assistant cross-trains in Bindery, Digital Press and Prepress and serves as a backup equipment operator in those areas. This role also provides general administrative support to various areas of the print production operations.

Responsibilities

• Operating digital presses
• Operating bindery equipment including: UV coater, scoring/perfing machine, folder, stitcher, paper cutter and paper drill
• Packing finished goods for shipping and mailing
• Stock shelves with consumables and inventory items
• Operating a pallet jack and forklift
• Processing shipments with various outside shipping vendors
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous experience operating folding equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends as needed to meet customer deadlines
• Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment while adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards with great attention to detail
