What you’ll be able to do:

We’re seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our manufacturing processes. Review incoming warranty claims data on a daily basis, review customer and dealership comments, bin claims into proper binning categories, contact dealership/s for parts and repair diagnoses, participate in customer call back to ensure proper understanding of customer feedback, review returned parts for root cause analyses and develop Interim Containment and Permanent Corrective Actions.

You will:

  • Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality related tasks.
  • Lead engineering commodity changes for future minor product launches and lead cost reduction actions in current production vehicles.
  • Support Variability Reduction Team (VRT) for specific subsystems and work closely with Supplier partners for subsystem components to address quality concerns

- Lead engineering trials and the implementation of running changes for the sub-system -Issue engineering Alerts and initiate and/or pursue authorization of engineering Concerns for product changes to support Quality objectives

  • Engage technical experts and functional team members for driving resolution and in developing corrective actions to improve product Quality
  • Maintain sub-system or Vehicle Functional Group (VFG) level Quality documents (SAQ, Top 20 concerns)
  • Make presentations to various levels of upper management (weekly VRT report out, Vehicle Quality Reviews, Engineering Managers reviews)

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Our preferred requirements:

  • Six-Sigma Training (Black Belt or Green Belt Certification)
  • Ability in work in a fast-paced environment to support quick decision making
  • Familiarity with CAD systems
