Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in partnership development with defining new partnership strategies, structuring and negotiating deals, and handling sensitive partnerships.
  • Experience in the telecom, media and technology sector, in business development or strategy roles.
  • Experience in operating and leading cross-functional efforts across Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, and Operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in business development and product development.
  • Experience in presenting narratives to executive leadership, with the ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, and deliver goals.
  • Ability to develop new partnership strategies, product initiatives, and programs.
  • Ability to collaborate and solve challenges in an entrepreneurial and creative approach.
  • Excellent people management skills to articulate contractual, technical, financial and business points with partners and teams, and high-level of comfort presenting key deal issues to executive management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $154,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of Telco-focused opportunities across YouTube and Google, including specific product initiatives. Solicit and understand needs from the partners and represent the Telco partners in defining requirements with our Product and other cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize our approach to the Telco sector, articulating a holistic strategy for the sector while identifying opportunities to scale best practices across the Global team and authoring new playbooks for engaging with partners to structure impactful partnerships.
  • Lead cross-functionally to secure buy-in for programs, product needs or partnerships, including problem-solving legal, policy, business, operational and technical complexities.
  • Leverage industry and market experience to identify and quantify opportunities, risks and needs to inform business processes, partnerships, and product roadmaps.
  • Partner closely with the multiple cross-Google teams that work in the Telco space.
