2nd Shift Available - 3pm-1am M-TH
General production laborer maintains productive, efficient, and safe work duties and responsibilities. This is a very DUSTY work environment.
- Plant 1 runs potatoes and carrots – slow moving/consistent tasks, no proven skills needed, entry level, line work (sorting), lots of sanitation/cleaning tasks, must be able to go outside and/or scale trucks regardless of weather, little to no forklift
- Plant 2 runs fruits (various) – faster pace, moving around is needed, some experience in manufacturing is helpful but will train, lots of sanitation/cleaning tasks, must be able to go outside and clean when applicable regardless of weather, little to no forklift
- Blending Line – slower pace, must have math skills (+/-/%), ability to understand controls/process flow, needs to be able to identify even slight changes in color and consistency, this line blends products together, forklift skills helpful but will train, sanitation/cleaning tasks, no outside requirements
Float is a mix of all three above departments
Responsibilities:
- Run, clean, and maintain conveyors, dicer, dryer, hammer mill and bagger.
- Operate forklift
- Load/Unload trucks
- Empty dumpsters
- General maintenance and sanitation
This is a very DUSTY work environment. Consistent work history REQUIRED. Food manufacturing experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
