Position: Production Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid handling systems.
• Accurately record project activities and prepares appropriate operating standards and/or maintenance procedures for all equipment and processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance equipment area.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Establish and maintain communication with appropriate equipment vendors and suppliers.
• Responsible for general safety and security of facility, equipment
• Must be a self-starter and organized, with a positive attitude, able to work independently and as a team
• Assist in carrying out ongoing preventative maintenance programs
• Review work order priorities on a daily basis and ensure that they are serviced each day.
• Ability to trouble shoot and repair facility and industrial food equipment, i.e. pumps, conveyors, and automated machinery.
• Maintain records for preventive maintenance and repair history

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of production equipment maintenance experience, preferably in food and beverage environment.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Ability to understand blueprints, diagrams and ladder logic programs.
• Proficient in using hand, power, shop and diagnostic tools.
• Skilled in electrical power/controls, mechanical and fluid handling systems.
• Trade or Technical school certification preferred.
• Forklift experience, preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and some weekends.
• Must be able to lift 50-75lbs

Salary:

• DOE, $18 - $28 per hour
