Responsibilities:
Assists in planning and coordinating specific projects. Act as a liaison with all company departments to execute projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Under direct supervision, assists in daily coordination of projects and activities including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and project requirements.
  • Tracks and documents progress and identifies/resolves issues. Ensures project stays within established budget.
  • Communicates with internal associates and external clients/vendors.
  • Ensures project documentation in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Performs project follow up as needed.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as arranging meetings, developing agendas, and preparing ad hoc reports.
  • Completes additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred; and at least two years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Microsoft Office products experience to include Word, Excel, and Power Point is required. Microsoft Project, PeopleSoft experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a private vehicle for business use.

Makes standard and routine decisions based on detailed guidelines with little independent judgment. Problems are generally solved with clear, detailed guidelines or by reporting them to a supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills

Has a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires basic analytic ability. Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process. Has working knowledge of the organization. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proven ability to successfully work in a team environment. Project management skills preferred.
