As a Project Manager, you will be assuming oversight of new free standing and in line construction projects in the Midwest for retail and food service customers that are among the most well known in the United States. Projects can last from 3 to 7 months. Your role will be to manage multiple projects and provide support to the superintenents on a daily basis. You will work closely with customers and be responsible for aligning the customer's needs with the project reality.

We prefer that you have at least 3 years of experience as a superintendent or project manager and are well-versed in the needs that must be met by the project manager. Experience in ground up commercial restaurants is a plus!

The Nuts and Bolts

• Review architectural drawings to determine appropriate action needed by trades.
• Ensure schedules are maintained and determine resolutions to account for unexpected challenges in order to meet the desired turnover dates.
• Assist the superintendent to resolve problems and to work with subcontractors to ensure they provide a high quality project in time.
• Represent Thorndale in weekly customer meetings to update on project status.
• Oversee and manage all change orders for each project.
• Check in with superintendents on a daily basis. Visit each jobsite at least once a week.
