With the recent enactment of the Food Safety Act, the automated food inspection industry is primed for significant growth and Peco InspX seeks a QA Engineer to help test our next generation of x-ray inspection systems. In this role, you will design, deploy, and sustain test software and hardware in our Engineering lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Electrical Engineering during product introduction to create and develop test plans and automated test sequences or scripts for testing products at software and hardware level.
• Collaborate with Engineering and external third-party integrators on production test fixtures and development to ensure good functional test coverage and reproducible results.
• Work closely with in-house manufacturing and contract manufacturers to ensure adequate test capability and capacity for engineering and production builds.

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience testing hardware and/or software
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work in a lab environment simulating a food processing line (conveyors, package handling equipment, x-ray machinery)
• An interest in working with something tangible - these are real machines that inspect over a billion food and beverage products daily around the world. Our software and inspection algorithms are a key part of the food safety process for many people.
• Experience in comprehensive analysis of technical issues, such as system performance analysis, RCCA, triage, debugging.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
