Quality & Food Safety Manager Job at Trouw Nutrition
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, guide and delegate the development, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and improvement of the TN USA Quality & Food Safety, HACCP and Food Safety, Fraud, and Defense programs.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of agreed business essential certifications for all facilities and ensure preparation covers all new requirements. Assign direct reports’ roles, responsibilities and training.
- Oversee, guide and delegate the Quality Assurance Laboratory Programs at all production facilities to ensure they meet company and customer requirements.
- Responsible for overall communications of Quality Assurance requirements to the appropriate personnel internally and assist externally, as needed, to facilitate seamless business operations
- Set individual objectives, complete employee evaluations, provide coaching and direction to TN USA’s internal Quality & Food Safety teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of college degree in science related field or related experience
- Six to eight years’ experience in quality assurance
- Three to five years’ previous managerial experience
- Proven ability to evaluate and analyze Q & FS systems as a whole
- Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications and e-mail programs
- Good oral and written communication skills.
This is a full-time position, located at our corporate office in Highland, Illinois (30 miles east of St. Louis, MO).
