Perform receiving inspection of incoming material to the requirements of
the Purchase Order, drawing, pertinent specifications and inspection
procedures. Review of supplier documentation for accuracy and
completion, including First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation will be
required. Log all inspection results in the Common Operating System
(COS). Document any defects in COS or Solumina. Coordinate with Supply
Chain Quality Engineering on generation and closure of defect
notifications. Candidate must be able to lift 40 lbs and move material
weighing up to 600 lbs with a pallet jack.
Basic Qualifications:
Detail-oriented

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, part lists and other technical data

Ability to use basic mechanical inspection tools – calipers, micrometer, height stand/indicator

Above-average Computer Skills

Adherence to process and systemic requirements

Ability to lift 40 lbs and move material weighing up to 600 lbs with a pallet jack
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Product Specs, i.e. IPC, Mil-Std, etc.
Working knowledge of SAP, P2P and Solumina
Working knowledge of EPDM
Ability to multi-task and establish priority in fast-paced environment
Good oral and written communication skills
