The Trelleborg Denver facility is seeking a Receiving Inspector/Material Handler to support our growing aerospace business in Louisville, CO.

Summary

The Receiving Inspector/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that received product meets all stated requirements and in dealt with according to internal procedures. This position will perform inspections and execute all receiving processes necessary to receive materials for TSS Denver.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Receive materials and documentation from suppliers in a timely manner, enter receipts into ERP system and ensure receipts are complete by month end

· Ensure proper identification and traceability for all received materials

· Verify certifications comply with documented requirements and internal standards

· Ensure proper documentation control for all processes within this position

· Verify physical property and chemical tests reports and enter information into database as required

· Perform visual and dimensional inspections, material testing and quarantine procedures on received material and document results as needed

· Perform preliminary review on nonconforming material and forward the material to MRB as required Perform rejection report and SNCR procedures to include contacting suppliers to discuss rejections and corrective actions, follow-up as necessary for completion of SNCR

· Ensure all required documentation is complete and properly distributed

· Coordinate distribution of received materials to the appropriate storage or processing area

· Ensure all visitors/vendors comply with Company safety guidelines and other duties as required

Education and Experience

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. This position should ideally have 3 years of experience minimum in a Quality role in a manufacturing environment, and 1 year minimum conducting receiving duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal in English

· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while staying highly organized

· Must have a high level of attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

· Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Experience using an ERP system, performing receiving functions a plus

· Ability to interpret blueprints and product drawings including understanding of GD&T

· Extensive experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometer (OD, tube, blade etc.), optical comparator, height gages, pin & plug gages and pi tape

· Ability to understand measurement equipment feedback and distinguish accurate measurement results from untrustworthy results

· Must have excellent math aptitude

· Experience using test and measurement fixtures

· Experience operating and troubleshooting a CMM and/or vision system (Zeiss and Keyence product experience a plus)

· Experience working in an AS9100 certified environment a plus

· Experience with internal controls compliance a plus

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Equipment Used

This position is located in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, and bending. This position will spend about 90% of their time on the production floor where heavy machinery is present and loud sounds exist. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Safety Toe Shoes to be worn at all times when on the production floor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
