Registered Nurse - PACU/OR Experience Preferred Job at Northern Baltimore Surgery Center

Northern Baltimore Surgery Center has an immediate opening for a full-time RN with OR experience.
Every day you will . . .
- Work with all staff on the health care team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout his/her surgical experience
- Provide perioperative care to patients
- Provide and monitor IV conscious sedation
- Start and manage IV lines
- Administer medications
- Document patient vital signs and assessments
- Utilize general nursing skills
- Demonstrate initiative, insight and judgment in decision making process
- Maintain a friendly, positive, and caring attitude with all patients, physicians, and staff
Success in this position will require . . .
- Currently Maryland or compact state nursing license
- CPR certification required
- ACLS certification required
- OR experience required
- Eye experience, preferred
- PACU experience, preferred
