Residence Counselor Part-time Overnight Shift New City Job at Loeb House Inc.
Loeb House, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit agency that services adults suffering with a serious mental illness and/or addiction. We provide transitional housing with the goal of re-integrating clients back into the community.
Loeb House is currently looking for part-time Residence Counselors for the overnight shift on Sunday and Monday.
40 hrs per week
Tuesday - Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM
A Residence Counselor is responsible for the supervision of consumers in a Congregate Residence program serving adults living with behavioral health issues, including mental illness and/or chemical addiction. Responsible for the safety of consumers, cleanliness of the residence, providing and documenting weekly restorative services, meeting with treatment teams and other outside professionals, conducting medication counts and other paperwork as required.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent. Preferably some college courses and/or one (1) year experience in human services, preferably with mentally ill and chemically addicted individuals.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English with ability to complete written documentation and perform mathematical calculations. Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with clients and co-workers.
- Valid driver's license is required.
