Full-Time Retail Keyholder
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as an experienced, full-time Keyholder at our new luxury dog boutique! Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, we are excited to bring our love and appreciation for pups to the glitz & glam of The Golden Triangle. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a lavish and welcoming shopping experience for our customers and their canine companions. Your duties will include greeting all clients, managing associates, building the brand with Store Manager & Director of Ops, and helping to meet the store's daily sales targets. The qualified candidate will provide a high degree of professionalism that supports a store-culture based on satisfactory relationships and continuous improvement. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is sales-driven, has great managerial skills, and loves the world of dogs.
Duties & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead team to success by leveraging company tools, incentives & strategies to support meeting sales goals
- Assumes all managerial duties to assist Store Manager & Director of Ops
- Supervise the efficient and productive handling of all merchandise including shipment receipt and processing, and replenishment systems while maintaining a clean stockroom
- Ensure that staff adheres to all company polices and product knowledge
- Meet inventory accuracy and shrink results meet company loss prevention standards
- Support, promote and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management
- Demonstrate strong business ethic through KPI’s to develop and support business driving strategies
- Helps with visual merchandising of sales floor
- Stays up to date with social trends to build the business
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
- Passion for selling, clientelling, and maintaining critical customer relationships
- Operates all technological equipment, POS & back-office software’s, and additional devices in an expert fashion
- Maintains a pristine, well-organized, and safe working environment
- Accurately and quickly handles cash, credit/debit, apple pay, and “pay later” payment options
- Performs all sales duties along with maintaining inventory, shipment check-in’s, stocking, and shipping.
- Communicates accurately & effectively to both customers, associates, and superiors
- Performs other retail duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required (or in process)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Shopify
- Outstanding managerial and customer service skills
- Loves being a part of a successful team & has a desire for luxury retail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, brainstorm alternative solutions, and troubleshoot basic issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time during shift hours
- Reliable transportation
- Prompt, responsible, and professional
- Loves dogs
- Able to lift 30+ pounds
- Minimum 1 year of managerial and/or keyholder experience (visual experience is a plus)
- Minimum 2-year retail experience
- Must be able to work both weekdays and weekends (willing to work flexible hours)
—Shift Hours will range from: Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm, Tuesday-Saturday 10:30am-7:30pm with occasional Monday shifts as private shopping sessions for VIP clients.
—Base pay between $20-$23/hour.
