Salary: $33.05 - $35.25 Hourly

Essential Functions
- Develop and coordinate the loss prevention, risk management, and safety programs
- Work with supervisors to assess risk and to develop and implement timely plans and corrective actions to minimize risks
- Maintain records and submit reports that monitor safety data, incidents, and trends
- Manage and provide training on safety issues for fire/emergency/disaster plans, hazardous communications and infection control, vehicle safety, workplace and violence safety and food service safety
- Monitor and ensure compliance in accordance with state and federal standards regarding ADA, OSHA, and the Montana Safety Culture Act
- Act as the Safety Officer coordinating and holding quarterly Safety Committee meetings
- Collaborate with Human Resources, the Workers Compensation Insurance Carrier, Administration, and Maintenance to facilitate reasonable ADA accommodations, modified duty and/or early return to work programs
- Manage pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol screenings
- Supervise and schedule security officers to provide 24-hour security coverage of facilities and properties
- Oversee direct reports providing performance appraisals, balanced workloads, hiring processes, progressive discipline, and authorization of continuing education
- Represent the senior leadership group externally in all matters related to Safety & Security

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health and safety, emergency management, or related field
- Four years of work-related experience
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Safety and Health professional designations (ASP, CSP, ARM, etc.) preferred
- OSHA safety or related certifications preferred
