S&C2 R&C Administrative Assistant (Remote) Job at Raytheon Intelligence & Space
Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This role is a full-time administrative position reporting to the Space & C2 (S&C2) Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) Account Executive. This R&C team supports a portfolio of complex programs from missile warning and intelligence to weather, navigation and beyond, with a focus on end-to-end space solutions delivering mission breakthroughs. S&C2 develops and enhances space systems that incorporate transformative, next-generation technologies to keep customers ahead of the threat. In this position you will support the R&C team. This position works autonomously and helps foster a collaborative work environment while balancing the needs of internal staff and external business partners.
Primary responsibilities:
- Function effectively with minimal supervision to prioritize and accomplish multiple, time-constrained tasks in a dynamic environment
- Care for the calendar of R&C team members - coordinating with stakeholders, resolving scheduling conflicts, scheduling Center meetings and events, and ensuring effective time administration
- Compile a monthly report of relevant activities and information from inputs provided by members of the leadership team
- Coordinate travel arrangements and complete expense reports
- Assist with the preparation of internal organization reports and presentations, and provide high quality, accurate work products on or before requested need date
- Synthesize information to create meaningful and effective documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using the appropriate MS Office resources
- Guide the flow of information within and archive critical documents and records generated by staff members
- Organize and plan large or site level events as well as smaller meetings that include an agenda with multiple participants and food service
- Work with other administrative support staff both inside and other organizations to ensure the smooth operation of office processes
- Maintain an extensive job aid to document task implementation processes for all significant efforts within the scope of this role
- Maintain and facilitate compliance with office processes
- Help identify and diagnose support problems or inefficiencies within and implement changes to continuously improve operations
- Interface and communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Provide effective support to staff members, Raytheon organizations, external customers, and job applicants through reliable, fast, and accurate problem resolution
- Respond to general internal business inquiries and requests by providing excellent customer service, while maintaining composure and escalating as appropriate
Required Skills and Education:
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant administrative experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Tool Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience managing senior leadership level schedules
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels
- Ability to anticipate needs, be proactive in resolving difficulties, and respond effectively and with good judgment to non-routine requests or situations
- Experience planning and organizing large events and multi-tasking

- US Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with remote/geographically dispersed employees, teams, and managers
- Experience with Zoom remote meeting instruments
- Working knowledge of file sharing or wiki information

The salary range for this role is $34,000 to $76,000; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and key skills.
