Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Duration: Long term extendable contract Job opportunity

Location: Linthicum, MD ( Remote Work but is expected onsite weekly - Hybrid Work Model)

Job Description:

Direct Client requires a Salesforce developer to analyze and design the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows in Salesforce, and also provide custom solutions for specific business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Support business requirements and deal with all the CRM needs of the client.
• 2. Provide customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
• 3. Communicate with project managers, technicians and ensure efficient participation in all different phases of development from testing to maintenance.
• 4. Troubleshoot any bugs or attacks in the system.
• 5. Create various timelines and development goals.
• 6. Responsible for making specialized plans and procedures for different offices and IT groups.
• 7. Provide training to other junior developers, managing them to process tasks efficiently.
• 8. Work with various internal offices, including project improvements, and tasks to ensure that Salesforce status supports internal requirements.
• 9. Provide application development for other peer developers.
• 10. Responsible for updating and making changes to already existing applications or developing new applications according to client needs.

*Specialized Experience:

• 1. Experience with Apex and object-oriented languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, and Ruby.
• 2. Experience with data-driven applications and relational databases.
• 3. Experience with Model View Controller (VC) architecture and Lightning Component Framework.
• 4. Knowledge of the capabilities of the core Salesforce object, fields, and relationships.
• 5. Knowledge of the capabilities and use cases for formula fields and roll-up summary fields.
• 6. Demonstrates the ability to know when to use declarative vs. programmatic methods to solve business requirements.
• 7. Able to leverage relevant declarative capabilities of the platform, where appropriate.
• 8. Experience with the Apex programming language in addition to experience using Apex best practices to customize Salesforce.
• 9. Experience with extending the Lightning Platform using Apex, Visualforce, and basic Lightning Components.
• 10. Experience with fundamental programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform to develop custom interfaces to extend Salesforce capabilities and develop custom business logic.
• 11. Familiar with the testing, debugging, and deploying code and knows the available environments.
• 12. At least one (1) year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies, including Internet protocols or web-based technology. Technologies include HTML, CGI applications, PERL or JavaScript, and Java.

*EDUCATION::

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.

Preferred: 1. Salesforce Certification is preferred / or three (3) years of Salesforce experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $56.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Linthicum, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
